Useful tool for photographersNov 18, 2009 Unlike my previous profiler, the ColorMunki measures room light, which assists in setting monitor brightness and contrast. Printer profiling is straightforward and, so far, works well. Optimizing printing requires an additional application such as Gamutvision or ColorThink to evaluate discrepancies between monitor and printer profiles.
Excellent product!Nov 18, 2009 Xrite does it again! This is an exceptional tool for attaining accurate screen to printer calibration to insure the WYSIWYG concept for photographic print production.
In addition, it is priced very reasonably.

Better than a bottle of aspirinOct 25, 2009 Excellent calibration tool for screen & printer. WYSIWYG. Terriffffic!!!!!!!!!!!
The only con is I couldn't buy this 15 years ago. Life is short, go for it:)
I really wanted to like this productOct 23, 2009 After doing many Google searches for monitor calibration software, I thought I found the trifecta gizmo. One that would calibrate my monitor, printer and projector. Installation of the software is easy. The included CD Rom / DVD video was very useful. The process to calibrate the printer is good, but make sure that your printer has full ink cartridges otherwise the color munki can't calibrate correctly. The color patches need to be fully printed out in all its color glory. I calibrated the HP OfficeJet 7310xi with the HP premium plus photo. Using Adobe LightRoom with this newly created profile, the prints were slightly green tone. Reverting back to printer managed color management in Adobe LightRoom yield the best results. As a result, I decided to return this item. I don't have a dedicated color printer, once I use up all my photo printer, I may decide to splurge and get a dedicated Epson/Canon/HP photo as recommended on [...[. At that time, I may give ColorMunki another shot.

Doesn't play well with monitorOct 20, 2009 The Color Munki does not play well with the Eizo monitors. The two companies really need to get their act together on this one.
