 Sounds work good... projector always breaks!Nov 22, 2009
I am glad I have read some of the other customer reviews on this product because I'm seeing that many people have an issue with the projector. We have replaced this product twice within the first 6 months of use due to the projector not working. The projector just sits on one part of the disc - does not spin! The sounds works fine, but we just use the projector as a night-light. Our son stares at the same image on the ceiling - it's a pain to keep manually moving the disc to another position every night - especially when it should be spinning on its own! We have fiddled with the cords, removing the discs, etc. and I think it started spinning again one time - but have not been able to get it to work since. Yes, great product if made better! Homedics needs to fix the projector problem so we stop wasting our money!

I have a son who is 19 months now. We received this item as a Christmas gift last year. Since then I have purchased it for every baby shower I get invited to. It is great! I love the fact that you can set the timer to go off at different times. Some nights he needs a little more time to wind down, so I will set it for 30 or 45 minutes instead of 15. Then at nap time I just let it play the whole time. When he was between the ages of 10 to 15 months, he would take 3 to 4 hour naps as long as his music was playing! It was great! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ITEM! Also, Amazon had the best price around.

My daughter absolutely loves the projector, we have never used any of the sound features she usually listens to her favorite lullaby CD (which 2 years later is still sounding the way it did when I bought it) unfortunately I cannot say the same for this system. I am now on my 4th one because either the projector just stops moving or a horrible buzzing sound comes from the system when the projection is on. The item is not all that expensive depending on where you buy it but it's still frustrating. I had opened one box and used it 4 times before it stopped working. I would gladly pay more money if I knew it would last longer than a few months. Guess I am stuck with this one because she loves it and haven't found a simlar product.

This is an awesome product...for a month or so. I have bought 3 of these things. Every one of these projectors have stopped spinning the picture. I still have to play this thing at night...my daughters LOVE it. It breaks my heart to hear them tell me that it is broken again, Please fix mommy. (why else would I buy 3 of these).

Its wonderful to have this.but unfortunately I received a broken glass projector..so I returned to amazon..but returns are easy and quick ..
